We understand that a retained executive search approach is not always the most appropriate recruitment solution for our clients. We therefore have a ‘success only’ based contract where the focus is fast-turnaround and ongoing talent acquisition support. We use a combination of proactive headhunting, networking and referrals, advertising campaigns and our database to target both ‘actively-looking’ and passive candidates.
We recommend this approach for more generic searchers, multiple roles, junior to middle level positions and for positions where the skills & experience are widely available in the candidate market.
There is only a fee if we make a successful placement with you, no obligation to work on an exclusive basis and there is no fee for interviewing our candidates. It’s a completely flexible agreement.
Retained Executive Search
For more complex searches, niche skill-set positions and often senior roles, we would recommend this approach. The retained approach involves a more in-depth research stage and follows a highly structured process. There is a stronger commitment to deliver within a pre-agreed timeframe. We conduct a full ‘market-mapping’ exercise, where we aim to identify and speak to a significant segment of the candidate population with the required skills, qualifications & experience and present to you a short-list of the best available candidates in the market.
For each candidate, we conduct a detailed assessment which looks ‘beyond the CV’. We drill down to understand the candidates current situation and appetitive to move, what drives them, career goals and aspirations and their values.
The fee structure is divided into three parts, which includes a retainer fee on commencement of the search, a second stage fee on delivery of a shortlist and the final payment on successful completion of the search. You receive full exclusively on all candidates that we present to you.
